My Happy Graduation Card PLUS Last 2 Days Free Shipping!

Stampin up stampinup pretty mary fish crazy about you 5

With graduation events, right around the corner, I thought it was perfect timing to share a simple graduation card idea with you.

Don’t forget there are just two more days of Stampin’ Up! FREE shipping.  No minimum order.  Ends April 10!

PPA247

I created a rich palette of purples using this week’s Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge (PPA247).  See the other “purple-licious” creations by the Pals Paper Arts Resident Artists HERE.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • They’re back!  The Stampin’ Up! Hello You Thinlits Dies are back in stock and available to order.

  • I used the “happy” framelit for my card and adhered it with random bits of Liquid Multipurpose Glue.   Some parts remain loose for a cool 3-D effect.
  • Save 15% when you purchase the Hello You Thinlits Dies and coordinating Crazy About You stamp set together.  Available in wood-mount, clear-mount and photopolymer bundles.  See more details in my supplies list below.

  • Be true to your school!  Consider using blocks of customized school colors in place of my purples.  I started with a 5 x 2 3/4″ piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock and layered sections of  1 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ in Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant on top.

  • I free cut the pieces for the cap (essentially a narrow diamond over half a hexagon) with my Paper Snips and added a tassel of Whisper White Baker’s Twine.  The cap is popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals to make it a WOW! focal point.
  • Hover and Pin it! Here’s a photo showing key products for today’s card that you can save or pin to Pinterest. See ALL my product photos in one spot on my How to Make Simple Cards board on Pinterest.
