  1. A gorgeous card, I CASEd it tonight (Hope you don’t mind) as I have a few weddings coming up this year. A very elegant style, thanks for sharing

    • It’s been such a long time since I made that card but I still love it. Flattered you recreated it!

  2. I love your CAS style. I CASE’d this card for my husband’s birthday using “love you” and “happy birthday” stamps from the Express Yourself hostess set. I know I’ll be making the “better get better” version too. Thanks for sharing!!!

  3. Mary, I love the simplicity of this elegant card.
I think it would be nice as a wedding, engagement, Valentine’s card.
I really enjoyed the envelope liner refresher.
    Thanks,
    Lynnie

  4. Thanks, Carol. I’m so happy you find the videos and card helpful. You make my day!

  5. Hi Cindy

  7. Another great card, Mary! Thanks so much for the tutorial. I love your “tips” and the “clean cut” look!. This would make a great Valentine’s Day card.

  8. Your cards are always so clean, crisp and comfortable. I enjoy seeing all your creations and save most of them. Your video was very informative and to the point. Keep up your beautiful work and thank you for sharing.

  9. Mary,
Thanks for the video. I’m interested in your grid mat. Where can I get that?

  10. Mary,
Thanks for the video. I’m interested in your grid mat. Where can I get that?

  11. Mary,
Thanks for the video. I’m interested in your grid mat. Where can I get that?

  12. Hi Frenchie: I have plenty of cards with flaws (but appreciate your confidence in me). I just keep a light hand with adhesive (as you can see from the video) so things can be tweaked! Hugs, M

  13. Great tutorial. Very versatile card and simple to make. I’ll be looking at other dies that will work for this tutorial. And, yay, it can be mailed! Thanks for sharing and love your tips (and my envie framelits).

  14. Hi MsMary, first welcome home, I’m glad your home, miss you !! Ok, second your to good,
But now your secret is out …… Grit paper !! Lol, your cards never have a flaw, I love that !!
And that is such a pretty and simple card, love it !!
    Tfs, thank you,
    Hugs Frenchie,

  15. Hi Gina: I don’t score it first. You may have noted in the video, I don’t adhere the bottom of the liner so that there’s a little give (room to move) for closing it. This makes it also easier to insert. When ready to send, It’s easy to fold over and press it with a bone folder if needed (usually I just reinforce with my finger). M

  16. Do you score the envelope liner once you insert it into your envelope to help it fold a little better? Or, do you find that’s not necessary?

  17. Sweet card Mary! Love the the one pop of red in all the hearts. Thanks for the video too…it was interesting to learn about the Fast Fuse. I will try the ‘snap’.
    Thanks so much for sharing!

  18. Going to have my Hailey Girl make this card. (She will call it her “Mary Card”. She knows your sweet style.) And without a doubt…..LOVE your video’s girlfriend!

  19. I’m excited to see this positive response. I worried it was a bit long and didn’t have any bells and whistles (music, title pages). The really awesome benefit for me is that it was quick to produce and inspires me to make more! Thanks.

  20. WOW, 8 a.m. here in NY and look at all the comments already. Mary, I agree with everyone, I love the card and the video. You did a great job. You didn’t even take a day to recoup from your trip. As always, thanks a bunch, great job.
    🙂

  21. Copying (CASE) one of my cards is an honor. You don’t need to ask but I’m flattered so much!

  22. I’m so excited you enjoyed this little change up for me (a simply & pretty class). I have been trying to think of ways to get more videos up and thought this would be a good alternative. As long as you don’t mind them being “one take” (and all the imperfections, I plan to do more! Thank you!

  23. Good Morning Mary! THIS is the style of card that led me to you. It’s white background, CAS yet elegant and oh so pretty style won me over. Hugs to You! Marlene
