Three Ways to Quickly Spin a Favorite Sketch

On yesterday’s post, I shared this video and card with a simple design.  Today’s card demonstrates the same card but with a few changes for a new look.

Simply:

1.  Pop on a new sentiment.

2.  Play with new colors.  I used a trio of Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie, a combination suggested by my Stampin’ Up! Color Coach (#130118).

3.  Add a touch of Designer Series Paper or a new embellishment.  I opted for a Stampin’ Up! a Rhinestone Basic Jewel (#119246) for a little bling.

Yesterday, I promised I would share a favorite way to “package” a handmade card for delivery.  To protect my cards in the mail, I cover the bumps (embellishments, ribbon, etc.) with a piece of coordinating cardstock.

However, for a real WOW! factor, I emboss the added piece of cardstock.  I used the Stampin’ Up! Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder (133739) on Melon Mambo cardstock for today’s card.

I used Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder (130917) on Real Red cardstock for yesterday’s wedding card.
