Introducing Strawberry Slush, Baked Brown Sugar, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding and Coastal Cabana. . . the yummy new Stampin’ Up! 2013-2015 In Colors.  They will be available in card stock and all kinds of coordinating goodies when the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog begins May 31.

Here is my initial take on how these colors compare to other colors in the Stampin Up! color collections.  Don’t miss the Stampin’ Up! Color Refresh for recent changes in our color line-up!

WHICH NEW IN COLOR IS YOUR FAVORITE?  Please leave me a comment below!

Strawberry Slush (top left):  Lighter and softer than Melon Mambo.  Brighter than Rose Red.

Baked Brown Sugar (middle left):  Warmer than Crumb Cake.  More gold and lighter than Soft Suede.

Crisp Cantaloupe (bottom left):  Lighter and softer than Calypso Coral.  More peach than Blushing Bride (a returning color).

Pistachio Pudding (top right):  A modern and “minty” spin on Certainly Celery (retiring).

Coastal Cabana (bottom right):  Lighter than Island Indigo.  Richer than Pool Party.  This is a color I have been really craving!

This simple little card was created using a 1″ Square Punch (124094) and a 3/4″
Circle Punch (119873).  I also used the 1″ Square Punch to flag the end of the
sentiment.  The “Gee, thanks” sentiment is from Really Good Greetings stamp set,
also available May 31 in the new catalog.

  1. It is hard to pick one of the colors, although I do lean to blues, so I will be ordering coastal cabana.
I am thrilled to see someone use the stamp “Gee, thanks” from the Really Good Greetings set.
I thought the stamp a little too sarcastic at first. Sounds like something a teen-aged girl would say when she received a gift she didn’t like…”Gee, thanks”
I’m glad to see it being used. Maybe I will be brave enough to try it now.

  2. Are you (please) going to do a comparison like you have done in the past, showing samples of the card stock side by side? This is how Baked Brown Sugar looks next to Soft Suede and the (long) retired Close to Cocoa…etc. I love it when you do that (and I bet that I am not the only one.) As always, love your card.

  3. I like all of them but would go with Pistachio Pudding if I could only have one. It usually takes me a while to warm up to the new in colors each year but I really like all of these and will certainly be adding them to my ‘need’ list.

  4. i LOVE THEM ALL. it’s so hard to pick. this is the best color grouping yet. i’m torn between Coastal Cabana and Crisp Cantalope or maybe the Strawberry Slush. Have to have them ALL!!!!

  5. Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, and Soft Sky are all so much alike. Then there is Pink Pirouette and Blushing Bride. I’m not sure I understand this.

  6. Hmmm. Eeny, meeny…..I can’t decide…Love them all! Can’t wait to get my hands on them, all of them!

  7. It’s a tie between Strawberry Slush and Baked Brown Sugar. Although I can see using all of the new colors!!!

  8. Than You Mary the card is so sweet. simple and elegant. I like the new colors. i think we should be eating them. It is a real toss up with the new colors. I think my favorite is Costal Cabana. It is really pretty.
I love how you compared the new colors with the old colors. Have a great day, Ellen

  9. Can’t say I have a favorite yet, I really like them all. Think this is the best combination of in colors they’ve had in a long time. I’m enjoying all of them at the moment, trying different combinations before everyone can order from the new catalog.

  10. Love all the new colors, but I think I am most excited to get my hands on Coastal Cabana. I always reach for the blues!

  11. All the names sound delicious. From what I can see from the photos, I think Strawberry Slush may be the one that I like the best.

  12. It is hard to pick a favorite from this group. They are all yummy. Stampin’Up gets two thumbs up for this group.I think if forced to pick a fave it would be Coastal Cabana – delicious!

  13. Can’t wait to “taste” these yummy colors…Pistachio Pudding and Coastal Cabana look like they will blend for a delightful color palette.

  14. I like them all, but if I have to pick just one…today it is Crisp Cantaloupe. Of course, later today or tomorrow it may change. Also, love the card. Thanks for the sneak peaks.

  15. This is the first time in years that I actually love ALL the new colors! However. I love Pistachio Pudding and Coastal Cabana as my favorite of all.

  16. I love the Crisp Cantaloupe – reminds of Groovy Guava. I also love the Coastal Cabana. Looking forward to seeing all of them.

  17. I love the Strawberry Slush – love them all to be honest but that one looks good enough to eat. The card is WONDERFUL to display them. Thanks!

  18. Hands down it’s Coastal Cabana for me. I absolutely can not wait for these new colors to arrive! Thanks for showing us what we can be looking forward to in the new catalog.

  19. My favorite is Crisp Cantaloupe…. but I’m looking forward to seeing all of them in person. StampinUp has come up with all winners this time.

  20. 3 cheers for Coastal Cabana! But then,I never gave up Bermuda Bay. How does Crisp Cantaloupe compare to the old “Groovy Guava?”

  21. This are all lovely colors, Mary. My favorite is Crisp Cantaloupe, from this sample it really looks like the color of this yummy fruit. I always loved Certainly Celery and I think this new twist on it will be also fabulous. Thank you for this sample card, I can’t wait to see this colors on the new catalog.
