Ginger has a new home. Lori Martin, a member of my Stampin’ Pretty Pals, volunteered to become her new owner when Ginger needed a place to go. They have become fast friends and we love hearing about this new chapter in both their lives (plus see sweet photos of Ginger like below).
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- The paw print is simple punch art. The “toes” were cropped with the Stampin’ Up! Small Oval Punch and the “base” is the Full Heart Punch.
- The sentiment is probably intended for a bride and groom but I thought it was fitting in this circumstance, don’t you?
- The little bone below the sentiment is a combination of a small strip of card stock sandwiched between two tiny hearts I swooped from the Owl Builder Punch.

Thank you Mary for sharing this design. I am always trying to find a card for our dog groomer to give her at Christmas from her two favorite hairy friends, London and Gunner. I CAS your card and did a Christmas theme with the paw print in Black with dazzling diamonds around each oval. Again thanks for sharing.
Awwwwww….this is so CUTE!!!! I love it!! Ginger has a GREAT new home and Mommy!!
I’m thrilled when someone wants to copy or is inspired by one of the card I make. Thanks! Mary
Love, love, LOVE this card, Mary! Such a creative way to use the punches! 🙂
This card is adorable! I hope you don’t mind if I case this for a friend who has just got a new dog 🙂 What a fun punch art idea!
Another adorable creation. I think I will CASE this card to send to my “nephew”, a King Cavalier Spaniel, on Valentine’s day….just changing out the sentiment. You are such a great source of inspiration Mary. TFS
This is fabulous! My dear brother and SIL’s puppy just turned one after Thanksgiving and I need to send a sort of belated card….this is perfect!!!!!! Thank you!
Very creative combination of different elements — you are always thinking! Ginger definitely landed in a good spot.
I LOVE this! And what timing! I am finishing up a basket of handmade cards for an auction benefiting a pet rescue as we speak! Back up to the stamp room to recreate this! Thank you so much for all your inspiration!

Over the top in the cute and clever category! love it!
Adogable! 😉
OMG, what a brilliant idea! I love this card…the paw is genius and the little collar is adorable. Thanks so much for sharing this idea.
Mary, how do you ever think these things up??? It’s too cute and fun!
ADORABLE, both the card and Ginger! I just adopted a new puppy after having lost my 13 year old dog last spring. She is the new love of my life and I cant imagine life without her. She has consumed my time a bit being a puppy. She is sitting on my lap helping me type right now. Needless to say I havent been on facebook much to learn about Ginger, but way to go Lori Marten! Mary, I will be casing this card today since I have some thank yous to send out for new puppy gifts! Thanks for the inspiration!
love it! Even Ginger’s collar and blanket match the Primrose Petals paper.
Love it Mary! I am CASEing to bring down to our Animal Shelter. Thanks for your sheer Genius!
Ahhhh! That was what came out of my mouth as soon as I saw this “dogalightful paw” card! I absolutely LOVE IT!
I love happy endings and the card is like a cherry on top! 🙂
What a great card. So creative. I’m happy to hear that they found each other and are fast friends. Love a happy ending.
Love it! I think I have found the perfect card to design for our dog groomer for Christmas. She will love it from our two dogs, London (Springer Spaniel) and our newest rescue puppy Gunner (Cocker Spaniel). The groomer loves our dogs and we love her. Thanks again for sharing Mary!
Lovely story, lovely card. And I think I just found the perfect Christmas card for all the dog wranglers at my Pal’s day care! I make them all a dog-centric card each year and I love punch art. Thanks for all the sharing you do.
you are so creative! I love this card.
What a great use of this sentiment. Not just for weddings is it? That’s a great card and wonderful picture of such a cute little doggie. Love the bone especially!
This is a great idea! Thank you for the inspiration!
I love this card. Very thoughtful!
Clever and cute!
Beautiful Card! I volunteer for a Pug Rescue and these cards would be great to send to our folks who give our fur babies a forever home!
Ooops…just saws your reply above my comment about the sympathy card. That was actually my first thought when I saw the card because my cousin just lost her baby kitty. Definitely plan on sending her this card, with a different sentiment of course. Thanks
I think this is my fav card ever! I have a rescue dog so the card is very fitting. Never would have thought to use the heart for the paw pad. Love it!
good point, celia, that the paw print would be a quick and simple design for a pet sympathy card, too. pets are such important family members!
Clever you!
Awesome card , Mary!
Jaw dropping! In my quest to fill even the sympathy card for loss of pets, this takes the cake, and for new pet owners? I’m now prepared for everything, thanks to you. Including being prepared for this move across state — you should see my house. (or not) TFS, Celia
Good morning, Mary: This card is just to cute and that puppy is even cuter!!!!! How wonderful that Ginger found a loving home. It’s amazing how much love pets can bring to a house and a family.
This card is just adorable, and what a perfect greeting. And I love how you made the little bone. Perfect.
