With Father’s Day around the corner, I realized it was time to put together some special cards. Today’s card is for my husband, Scott. I thought it was a good fit for this week’s Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge (PPA136). Please be sure to check out the rest of the PPA Design Team’s card ideas and play along!
- Each tie from the “Best Dad Ever” stamp set was inked with Stampin’ Write Markers, stamped and cropped with Paper Snips. Quick and easy!
- Stampin’ Dimensionals give each tie a 3-D boost. I use Stampin’ Dimensionals on almost EVERY card I create.
- What could be more sophisticated and masculine than a houndstooth texture. The Night of Navy and Real Red layers were embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Houndstooth Embossing Folder and my Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine.

COMING UP! My Stampin’ Up! new catalog order has arrived! I’ll definitely be in my Stampin’ Pretty Ultimate Stampin’ Zone working on more card samples and papercrafting ideas to share on my blog pronto!
