I loved the PPA "scallops" inspiration photo above.  You can certainly use it as a starting point (stunning colors, ocean theme) or simply think of it as a reminder to toss in some paper scallops on your project.  That's what I opted to do with the Stampin' Up! Pinking Hearts Border Punch!  I hope they qualify as scallops 🙂

HEAT EMBOSSING "WOW!" VIDEO TUTORIAL!
Heat embossing was the first stamping technique that really "wowed" me.  I love witnessing how the heat turns the matte powder to a raised and shiny finish.  I have had numerous reader requests to do a video on heat embossing basics.  Today's three minute video shares tips that will help you emboss with confidence!

 STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:

  • Stampin up stampin pretty video tutorial pink hearts border punch Keep ribbon in it's place.  Learn how with my "No Slide Ribbon Tutorial."
  • Paper Snips give the butterfly it's independence.  A tidbit of Stampin' Dimensionals gives it a lift.  I also used my "snips" to create the flag accent on the sentiment.
