More Mojo Monday Magic

Stampin up mojo monday holiday lounge

Today's sketch (MOJO115) could be a simple model for all your holiday cards.  The tree and background patterns from the Holiday Lounge Designer Series complement each other
perfectly.  Stampin' Up!'s Designer Series Paper
is the "bomb" for winning combinations and quick cards.

STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:

  • This 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" square card tucks neatly inside one of Stampin' Up!'s Whisper White Medium Square Envelopes (107289).
  • The Circle Scissor Plus allowed me to layer the exact size circles I needed (3.5" in diameter on the trees and 3 7/8" for the Whisper White).  Use the Glass Mat (112531) and my tips for crisp results.
  • Both circles nest in the scallop circle created with the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine and Scallop Circle Bigz Die.
  • My Playground Designer Button is technically Tempting Turquoise but I thought it blended like a champ with Taken with Teal.  Give yourself bonus points when you can ignore the need to be "matchy, matchy!'

  1. gorgeous and brilliant! you always make pretty happen … with everything you create!

  2. I love it. The design and the colors. I used my cardboard blocks with Holiday Lounge paper on one side, the other SU! holiday paper on another side and a snowman paper on a third side with the words, Noel, Xmas, and Snow, I can use them all winter that way. I think they look good on one of my mantels.

  3. This paper is so pretty! I love the colors together and that cute little button is the perfect finishing touch!

Happy Birthday!! I have a queston is there some way i could get the pattern or Inst. on how to make that shutter card like patti macleith sent you? I went to her site and she didn’t have it on there. It’s a real cut card. Thanks ROSEMARY

Hi Rosemary: I forwarded your comment/email to Patti directly. I’m sure she can help 🙂 Glad you enjoyed it. Hugs, M

  5. Dear Mary,
For non-traditional Christmas colors (sahara sand?) the results using this paper surprised me. I love all the patterns with the Dasher stamp. Looking forward to the creative ideas tomorrow. Hope you enjoyed your first AZ Thanksgiving. Still NO SNOW here in WI. lorijane

  6. I just love this DP and you have used it fabulously on Julee’s Mojo sketch. Great card!!
