Today’s project is a simple masculine birthday card. However, “BRAVO” could certainly evolve into a congrats card, too. Love that! This fabulous vintage airplane pattern from Stampin’ Up! Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper (DSP) has met its match, literally, with Copper Clay, Boho Blue and Night of Navy, one of yesterday’s color combination ideas here.

how to cut your cardstock & dimensions:
- Copper Clay Card Stock:
- Card Base – 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2 (top)
- Basic White Card Stock:
- Layer – 4 x 5 1/4
- Die-Cut Tag/Label – 3 1/2 x 2 3/4 (before die-cutting)
- Boho Blue Card Stock:
- Layer – 3 3/4 x 5
- Night of Navy Card Stock:
- Layer – 3 1/2 x 4 3/4
- Flagged Banner – 1 3/4 x 3/4 (before die-cutting)
- Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper:
- Layer – 3 1/4 x 4 1/2
- Flagged Banner – 1 3/4 x 3/4 (before die-cutting)
- “BRAVO!” – 4 x 5 (before die-cutting)
- Envelope Flap – 5 3/4 x 2 1/2 (before snipping)
how to make this simple card:
Burnish the fold of the Copper Clay card base with a Bone Folder.
Layer and adhere the Designer Series Paper, Night of Navy, Boho Blue and Basic White layers together and to the card base as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Use a Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) to crop the Night of Navy and Designer Series Paper layer with the Greeting of the Season flagged banner tag die.
Snip flagged die-cuts to size with Paper Snips.
Use a Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine (Standard) and the Mini Alphabet Dies to crop the “BRAVO!” from the Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper.
Crop the Basic White layer with a Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the 3 x 2 1/4 Greetings of the Season tag die.
Use your fingers to divide and unravel the Copper Clay 2023-2025 In Color Jute Trim into 3 pieces. PRETTY TIP: Watch my 1 Minute to WOW! Video Tutorial to see how here.
Use one of the three pieces to thread and tie a bow through the hole of the die-cut tag as shown.
Adhere the banners as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere the BRAVO! to the die-cut tag as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere the tag to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish as shown with 3 Copper Clay 2023-2025 In Color Opaque Sparkle Dots.
PERFECT POLISH! Adhere the 5 3/4 x 2 1/2 Designer Series Paper to the Basic White Note Card envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Add glue to the flap.
