Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is “Fun Family Occasions.” We hope that you will be inspired by the creations the Pals are sharing with you! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Bird lovers everywhere rejoice over the Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse dies used on today’s birthday card. The Country Birdhouse stamp set and dies are part of the Country Woods suite, new in the Stampin’ Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. I anticipate this suite will be a customer favorite and I hope this card convinces you why.
The Country Woods Suite Collection Includes:
- Country Birdhouse Bundle
- Country Flowers Bundle – Low Inventory
- Eyelet 3d Embossing Folder
- Country Woods 12″ X 12″ Designer Series Paper
- Country Lace 12″ X 12″ Designer Series Paper
- Petal Pink & White 1/4″ Diagonal Trim Combo Pack -Unavailable – Estimated Restock Date – Week of June 10

WHAT I LOVE! Make an elegant statement with an envelope flap that coordinates with the card. Aren’t those leafy details gorgeous? Simply cover the envelope flap with a 5 3/4 x 4 1/4 piece of Basic Black card stock. Crop with the leaf die from Around the Bend Dies. Use Paper Snips to easily trim the very edges of the curve (the die is just short) of the width of the envelope. When it’s time to send and seal the envelope, be sure to add extra glue below the leaves. I recommend you put it (card inside the decorative envelope) in a clear envelope just to be sure the leaves don’t mess with U.S. mail delivery!

Adhere the Basic White layer to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a Mini Misti to stamp the sentiment, bird, and birdhouse (Country Birdhouse Stamp Set) in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto the Basic White and striped Designer Series Paper layers. Watch my 1 Minute to WOW video: The Magic of the Mini MISTI for a quick demonstration here.
Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) to crop the bird, birdhouse, and birdhouse hole with the coordinating Country Birdhouse die and the sentiment with the Happy Little Things die.
Color the bird with Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends.
Crop the following with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) and the Country Birdhouse dies:
- Basic Black – roof top, birdhouse base , two double leaves , curvy birdhouse pole, birdhouse perch

- Basic White – roof accent
Adhere the birdhouse pole to the card as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere the Basic Black layer behind the birdhouse opening with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere the die-cut roof pieces and perch to the birdhouse as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the birdhouse to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish the center of the flowers with one large and one small Smoky Slate pearl (Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls).
PERFECT POLISH! Cover and adhere a 5 3/4 x 4 1/4 piece of Basic Black card stock to the envelope flap (add glue to the flap, not the card stock). Crop with the leaf die from Around the Bend Dies. Use Paper Snips to easily trim the very edges of the curve (die is just short) of the width of the envelope.
