Today’s happy birthday card highlights the Stampin’ Up! Filled with Happiness stamp set, one of My Favorite Things from the spring mini catalog. The image is both fun to color with Stampin’ Blends and designed to be cropped neatly with the Modern Oval Punch. I popped the oval up on Stampin’ Dimensionals which created a perfect spot to thread my gingham ribbon below.

CUT YOUR CARD STOCK – DIMENSIONS:
- Basic White Thick Card Stock:
- Card Base – 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2 (top)
- Basic Black Card Stock:
- Layer – 3 1/4 x 4 5/8
- Orchid Oasis Card Stock:
- Layer – 3 x 4 3/8
- Basic White Card Stock:
- Stamped & Die-Cut Layer – 3 x 4 3/8 (before die-cutting)
- Stamped & Punched Layer – 4 x 3 (before punching)
- 2022-2024 In Color 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper:
- Envelope Flap – 5 3/4 x 2 1/4

PROJECT TUTORIAL:
Begin by burnishing the fold of the Basic White Thick card base with a Bone Folder.
Adhere the Orchid Oasis and Basic Black layers together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Use a Clear Block E to stamp the image (Filled with Happiness Stamp Set) in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto the center of the 3 x 4 3/8 layer.
Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) and the 2 1/2 x 3 7/8 Deckled Rectangle die.
Adhere to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Use a Parakeet Party Light Stampin’ Blend to color the Black & White 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon.
Wrap around the center of the three layers, securing with a bow on the left.
Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a Clear Block E to stamp the image (Filled with Happiness Stamp Set) in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto the 4 x 3 layer.
Crop with the coordinating Modern Oval Punch.
Color the images with Parakeet Party (Light) and Orchid Oasis Stampin’ Blends (Light) as shown. TIP: As an alternative, you can use Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Write Markers instead of Stampin’ Blends to color the ribbon.
Adhere to the card (lined-up with the previously stamped image) with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish with Parakeet Party 2022-2024 In Color Pearls (low inventory).
PERFECT POLISH! Adhere the 5 3/4 x 2 1/4 Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the Basic White Medium envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. IMPORTANT: Add glue to the flap first, not the DSP. Center and line up the Basic Borders curved edge die, tape to secure (Post-It Tape) and crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard).
