A 4th of July “Salute” to Patchwork Pieces Dies

Create two 4th of July Card using the Patchwork Pieces and Wanted to Say Dies from Stampin' Up! Design by Mary Fish, Stampin' Pretty

Today’s patriotic card duo celebrates the 4th of July as well as the Stampin’ Up! Patchwork Pieces Dies.  Each card is a splashy display of what the two Patchwork Pieces Dies can do . . . a classic starburst or “groovy” waves!

WHAT I LOVE !  Look closely at the stitched details that each piece of the dies (either style) creates.  They are beautiful and rich with endless possibilities of color combinations and themes.

PROJECT TUTORIAL:

Begin by burnishing the fold of the Basic White Thick card base with a Bone Folder. NOTE: The card base is 4″ wide, not the standard 4 1/4″.

Adhere the Basic White and Blueberry Bushel layers together as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Crop the Basic White, Blueberry Bushel and Real Red layers through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) with the Patchwork Pieces die.

Adhere each color to the Basic White layer as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the Wanted to Say “celebrate” dies to crop the Real Red & Basic White (adhered to an Adhesive Sheet)sentiment layers.

Remove the Adhesive Sheet backing from the Basic White die-cut sentiment to adhere to the Real Red die-cut sentiment.

Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
