The Daisy Garden Stamp from Stampin’ Up! has been one of my go-to stamps when I need a quick card with a WOW factor. On today’s card, I paired it with another favorite – the Simply Fabulous stamp set! Lovin’ that luscious font.
WHAT I LOVE ! The black heat embossed daisies really pop in contrast with the spring splash of Melon Mambo card stock!

CUT YOUR CARD STOCK – DIMENSIONS:
- Basic White Thick Card Stock:
- Card Base – 4 1/4 x 11. Scored at 5 1/2.
- Layer – 4 x 5 1/4
- Melon Mambo Card Stock:
- Stamped Layer – 3 1/2 x 4 3/4
- Basic Black Card Stock:
- Die-cut Frame – 4 x 5 1/4 (before die-cutting)
- Basic White Card Stock:
- Stamped Sentiment – 3 x 3/4 (before die-cutting)
PROJECT TUTORIAL:
Begin by burnishing the fold of the card base with a Bone Folder.
Adhere the Basic White layer to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Rub the Melon Mambo layer with an Embossing Buddy (part of the Embossing Additions Tools Kit).
Use a Stamparatus to position and stamp the daisy image in Versamark Ink onto the Melon Mambo layer as shown.
Cover with black Basics Embossing Powder, tap to remove the excess, and set with a Heat Tool.
Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Seal.
Crop the Basic Black layer with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) and the largest Fabulous Frames die.
Adhere the frame to the card with strips of snipped Stampin’ Dimensionals (outer edges).
Rub the Basic White sentiment layer with an Embossing Buddy (part of the Embossing Additions Tools Kit).
Use a Stamparatus to position and stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink.
Cover with black Basics Embossing Powder. Set with a Heat Tool.
Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the longer Floral Gallery label die.
Adhere the sentiment to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish with Matte Black Dots.
