A GIFT CARD POCKET ON A CARD! Thanks to the Celebrate with Tags Bundle by Stampin’ Up!, you can quickly create a card for any occasion that includes a cute little pocket to tuck a gift card! For my birthday card, I adhered the pocket front and center.
Both the Celebrate With Tags Bundle and the Black & White Designs Designer Series Paper are part of My Favorite Things!
CUT YOUR CARD STOCK – DIMENSIONS:
- Basic White Thick Card Stock:
- Card Base – 4 1/4 X 11, scored at 5 1/2
- Basic Black Card Stock:
- Layer – 3 x 5
- Die-cut – 3 1/4 x 8
- Basic White Card Stock:
- Stamped Sentiment Die-cut– 3 x 1 1/2
- Sweet Sorbet Card Stock:
- Die-cuts – 2 1/2 x 2
- Black & White Designs Designer Series Paper:
- Layer – 2 3/4 x 4 3/4
- Envelope Flap – 5 3/4 x 2 1/4
PROJECT TUTORIAL:
Begin by burnishing the fold on the card base with a Bone Folder.
Adhere the Designer Series Paper and the Basic Black layers together and to the card with Stampin’ Seal.
Crop the Basic Black die-cut layer with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) and the pocket envelope Celebrations Tag die.
Assemble and adhere together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Insert your gift card. Thread a piece of Sweet Sorbet 2022–2024 In Color Baker’s Twine through the holes, securing with a bow.
Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini)to crop the heart and flagged banner with the Celebrations Tags dies from the Sweet Sorbet card stock.
Use a Stamparatus to position and stamp the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto the Basic White piece.
Snip the flagged banner in half and adhere to the back of the sentiment with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini)and the coordinating Celebrations Tags die.
Adhere the heart and sentiment to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish with a Sweet Sorbet 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots.
PERFECT POLISH! Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the Black and White Designs Designer Series Paper to the outside flap of a Basic White Medium Envelope. You can see my video demonstration with tips on adding designer paper to an envelope flap here.
