In Color Pairings: Day 3 Tahitian Tide

Today is the third of five posts where I’ll share three fabulous color “pairings” for EACH of the five NEW Stampin’ Up! 2022-2024 In Colors (Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Starry Sky, and Orchid Oasis). Love these crisp, bright colors!

There will be a tone on tone combination (and card sample) as well as a neutral and bold combination. I want you to see the depth, richness and possibilities of the 2022-2024 In Colors when paired with other colors!

STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:

Begin with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base of Basic White Thick card stock.

Layer and adhere a 3 1/2 x 5 piece of Tahitian Tide In Color 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper to a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Tahitian Tide card stock with Stampin’ Seal.

Double wrap with white Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack, securing on the right with a bow.

Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Seal.

Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Mini or Standard) to crop the following:

2 1/2 stitched circle die-cut – Stylish Shapes Dies – Tahitian Tide card stock
Sending die-cut – Sending Dies – Tahitian Tide card stock adhered to an Adhesive Sheet
Sending drop shadow die-cut – Sending Dies – Basic White card stock
Sentiment die-cut – Sending Dies – Basic White card stock

Use the Stamparatus to position and stamp the sentiment in Tahitian Tide Classic Ink onto the die-cut.

Remove the adhesive backing and adhere the sending die-cut to the sending drop shadow.

Layer and adhere all remaining die-cut pieces together and to the card as shown with Mini & Standard Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish with two white Classic Matte Dots as shown.

PERFECT POLISH! Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a 2 1/4 x 5 3/4 piece of Tahitian Tide 2022-2024 In Color 6×6 Designer Series Paper to the outside flap of a Basic White Medium Envelope. Trim to size with Paper Snips. You can see my video demonstration with tips on adding designer paper to an envelope flap here.
