Simple Saturday: Oh Snap! Cute Crocodile Card

HOW CUTE IS THIS CROC? Today’s simple card showcases the Oh Snap Stamp Set from page 47 of the Stampin’ UP! 2021 January – June Mini Catalog!

STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:

Begin with a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 Basic White Thick card base.

Adhere a 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 piece of Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper to the card base with Stampin’ Seal.

Crop a piece of Basic White card stock with the 5 1/8 x 3 3/4 Stitched Rectangle Die and a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

Use a Stamparatus to position and stamp the croc & bird in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink as shown.

Color with the following Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs: Mossy Meadow, Granny Apple Green, and Smoky Slate.

Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Crop a piece of Basic Black card stock with the Messages Die.

Use a Paper Trimmer to cut the die-cut shown to 1″ long.

Stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink. Cover with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Set with a Heat Tool.

Adhere a bow of White Baker’s Twine as shown with a Mini Glue Dot. Adhere to the card with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish with a Matte Black Dot.

PERFECT POLISH! Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a 2 1/4 x 5 3/4 piece of Designer Series Paper to the outside flap of a Basic White Medium Envelope. You can see my video demonstration with tips on adding designer paper to an envelope flap here.
