Nature's Thoughts Dies & Poll Results!

Last Tuesday, I created a Stampin’ Pretty Poll asking which limited release Stampin’ Up! coordination product (learn more here) I should use on my next creation. With exactly 750 votes cast, Nature’s Thoughts Dies snagged the win with 180 of those votes. The Birthday Dies were close behind with 175. Today’s card showcases the winner and pairs it with the coordinating Positive Thoughts Stamp Set!

Create a custom die-cut butterfly, feather, flower, branch, and more using Nature’s Thoughts Dies. Pair the dies with the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set to quickly and easily cut out stamped images from the set.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:

Begin with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base of Soft Suede card stock.

Crop a 2 x 5 1/2 piece of Terracotta Tile card stock with the scalloped edge die from the Seasonal Layers Dies using a die-cutting and embossing machine.

Adhere it to a 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Soft Suede card stock with Snail Adhesive and to the card base, as shown, with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Crop a piece of Very Vanilla card stock using the large label die from Nature’s Thoughts Dies and a die-cutting machine.

Zip it through a die-cutting and embossing machine a 2nd time tucked inside the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.

Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Use a Stamparatus to stamp the butterfly in Terracotta Tile Classic Ink and the foliage and sentiment in Soft Suede Classic Ink onto Very Vanilla card stock.

Use a die-cutting and embossing machine, along with the coordinating Nature’s Thoughts Dies to quickly crop out the stamped butterfly and foliage images.

Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Trim the sentiment to size (3/4 x 2 5/8) with a Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer.

Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Use a die-cutting and embossing machine and Nature’s Thoughts Dies to crop two small butterflies with Terracotta Tile card stock and four foliage pieces with Coastal Cabana card stock.

Adhere as shown with Mini Glue Dots that have been rolled between your fingers!
