STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:

Start with a 5 x 3 1/2 Whisper White Note Card as your card base.  Burnish with a Bone Folder for a crisp fold.

Use a Stampin’ Trimmer to cut a piece of black and white diagonal striped Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper (Level 1 Sale-A-Bration Item, Free with $50 Purchase) to 4 5/8 x 1.  Adhere with Snail Adhesive.

Use the Big Shot and the 4 x 2 5/8 Rectangle Stitched Framelits Die to crop a piece of Whisper White card stock. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Use the Big Shot and smallest square (1 1/8) Stitched Shapes Framelits Die to crop a piece of Melon Mambo, Mango Melody and Gray Granite card stock.  Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Crop a piece of Whisper White card stock to 2 1/4 x 5/8.   One end is snipped with the Banner Triple Punch.  Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Use the Stamparatus to stamp the “YOU” in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto Melon Mambo card stock. Snip to size with Paper Snips.  Tuck under the banner and adhere with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.

Use the Big Shot and Basic Black card stock to crop three butterflies, one bird, and “miss” sentiment (Well Written Framelits Dies). Adhere the bird with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.  Adhere the “miss” with bits of Snail Adhesive.  Adhere the butterflies with Mini Glue Dots.  TIP: Roll the glue dots to keep them hidden behind the butterfly bodies.

Add Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the center of each butterfly.

  2. I love your cards. I struggle to make sympathy and thinking of you cards. I don’t like a lot of frills on sympathy cards.
Thanks for the chance to get the bundle.

  5. The color combination is wonderful. I LOVE all of the elements you added, the diagonal Botanical Butterfly strip adds the perfect amount of interest. The butterflies are cute and especially interesting with the rhinestones. TFS.

    • Thanks, Kadie. I’m so fortunate she only lives a couple hours away and I get to see her fairly often (and Lucy). Seems like the more recently I see her, the more I miss her when we are apart.
