  1. Lovely card and it made me think that I wish I had this set just a month ago when my son lost his long-time best friend. It’s so hard when a beloved pet passes and this thoughtful, beautiful card would be much appreciated.

    • Thanks, Karren. Pets have become (even more) such an integral part of our families. We delight when they are with us and miss them so much when they are gone.

  2. I LOVE your card!! It is so adorable, I am glad you choose the two gingham prints in lavender, one of my favorite colors. I think of color, like my children, I just don’t LOVE one more than the other. Now I have to get the dog set also, thank you very much, lol. TFS

  3. Love this card and of course the stamps and punch. the paw prints on the envelope is a great touch.they do leave paw prints on our heart. Wish I would have had this when our daughter’s fur baby passed away from cancer.

  4. Perfectly gorgeous, Mary! I love how you’ve repeated the gingham (in a different pattern size) with the sweet puppy. Such a sweet, heartfelt card. ♥

    • Thanks, Brian. I’m hoping to lift someone’s spirits who recently lost their dog.

  5. Mary, that’s one of the sweetest cards I’ve ever seen. A condolence card can be a little tricky, but this is the best! I’m going to try it in black and white and red to have on hand when I get my order!

    • Thank you, Mary. I’m not afraid to do something bright and fresh for sympathy if I’m trying to lift someone’s spirits!

    • I can’t get enough of the gingham. Would love to see sets like this in plaid, too!

  6. Love this card, just plain fun. I would love to participate in cards for our fur babies.

  7. PS Give Freddie a kiss and a hug this morning from me and my 2 pooches, Caicos and Cheddar. I know you are going to think me nuts, but I have actually thought of starting a card club for dogs and cats. We would send birthday cards to our “precious” pets. I know, I know. They are my babies!

    • I’ll be sure to pass this along from Caicos and Cheddar. We will be headed out for a walk shortly. He loves his walks (and so do I).

    • If you do start this for our fur babies, count me in! My mail carrier would love to bring Teddy birthday cards.

  8. Ok, now I have to get the dog bundle NOW! I have the cat punch, but will do a dog and cat card with the gingham papers for my first or second class! Love the use of the 2 patterns!

  9. What a sweet card, Mary, for the occasion. I love pairing the two ginghams and the paw prints on the envelope. The recipient will be comforted and know you care. Enjoy your day!

    • I think the other ginghams in the 6 x 6 pack (Occasions Catalog) would be perfect, too. Could do a collection!

  10. Simply adorable. My favorite part just has to be the little paw prints stamped on the envelope. TFS.

  11. Today’s card is sweet as can be Mary, love the different Gingham papers and your layout, framing this cute little doggie so beautifully.
Love the little paw prints on the envelope too, how cute is that!!
    Thank you for sharing.
    XO

    • There were so many small patterns that looked great for the dog but I loved the combination of the large and small gingham, Maria.
