Weather Together Umbrella Card in Tempting Turquoise

Create a simple friendship support card using Stampin Up Weather Together stamp sets - Mary Fish StampinUp

I used retiring Stampin’ Up! color Tempting Turquoise for today’s simple friendship and support card.  Weather Together Photopolymer (Clear) Stamp Set and coordinating Umbrella Weather Framelits Dies were the foundation of my card.  Both the stamp set and dies are retiring, too!

SELLING FAST!  GET THEM WHILE YOU CAN!  These Stampin’ Up! core colors (including today’s Tempting Turquoise) are retiring.  Their coordinating inks, card stock and accessories are retiring, too.  Learn more about the Stampin’ Up! Color Revamp.

Stamp striped umbrella and handle from Weather Together Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tempting Turquoise ink on Whisper White card stock.  Crop both using the Umbrella Weather Framelits Dies, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine and Magnetic Platform.  The Magnetic Platform helps to keep the dies in place over the images during their trip through the Big Shot.

Stamp sentiment (Weather Together Photopolymer Stamp Set) on Whisper White card stock.  Crop using a die from the Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine and Magnetic Platform.  Add a coordinating Tempting Turquoise dot (Brights Enamel Shapes, also retiring) to the sentiment for interest!

  1. Mary, I saw your card on Instagram. You always make a stamp set that wasn’t on my radar become a must have!! Love this card. And love your style. Always elegant.

  2. This card is beautifully blocked – love the brightness of the Tempting Turquoise and how you’ve repeated the umbrella on the background panel. <3

    • Thanks, BK. I loved the challenge of one color ink and card stock (besides Whisper White)!

  3. I love the card. The sentiment goes so well with the background and the lovely umbrella. It feels soothing. I will miss Soft Sky in the Retiring Colors – it’s the same soothing color that goes so well with so many stamp sets. Sigh!

  4. I’m just crazy about the way you created the background panel……And I am going to miss Tempting Turquoise. Great card my friend.

    • It reminded me of a commercial from years ago with the one red umbrella! My inspiration!

  5. Good morning, Mary. I love your monochromatic card with the stamped background and the pretty striped umbrella. It really makes a comforting card for the recipient. Have a wonderful Wednesday!
