STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:

Cut Thick Whisper White card stock to a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card base.  With Stampin’ Dimensionals, adhere a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Whisper White card stock to card base.

Congratulations Card Idea Using Stampin Up Magical Day - Mary Fish StampinUp

Stamp mermaid (Magical Day stamp set) three times in Basic Black Archival Ink on Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist and Bermuda Bay card stock.  Crop all three images with the mermaid die from Magical Mates Framelits Dies.  Use Paper Snips to isolate hair (Bermuda Bay) and body (Lemon Lime Twist).  Adhere as shown with Snail Adhesive to Whisper White mermaid.

Brush Clear Wink of Stella on mermaid’s hair and body for instant sparkle and shine!

Stamp the “one of a kind” sentiment (Stampin’ Up! Magical Day stamp set) in Basic Black Archival Ink on Whisper White card stock.  Crop with largest square from Layering Squares Framelits Dies.  Adhere to a Lemon Lime Twist scalloped square created with the largest scallop square from Layering Squares Framelits Dies.

Congratulation Card Idea Using Stampin Up Magical Day - Mary Fish StampinUp

Use Layering Squares Framelits Dies to crop a Basic Black Frame (2nd and 5th largest square dies) and adhere to the sentiment layer using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Adhere mermaid with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Layer assembled square over a 1 1/2″ x 5″ piece of Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper.  End is cropped using the Stampin’ Up! Banner Triple Punch.  This pretty “specialty” paper has incorporated oodles of dazzle in the designs!

  6. Thanks, Beth. It’s hard to photograph all the sparkle of the mermaid (Wink of Stella on hair and body) and the designer paper. When this card hits the light, it’s fabulous!
