Welcome to the Pals November 2017 Blog Hop featuring “Anything But a Card.” Thank you for joining us today. Sit back and enjoy the view while the Stampin’ Pretty Pals wow you with projects like home decor items, gifts, card sets and 3-D.
Whether you’re just starting the hop, or have come from a previous Pal’s blog, you’ll find the line-up below to help you move from blog to blog.
Stampin’ Up! Mini Pizza Boxes (one of My Favorite Things) are fabulous for small gifts, 3 x 3 cards and envelopes (I personally love this idea as a gift for a host) and holiday goodies (they are food safe). I’ll share the “contents” of the box on tomorrow’s and Friday’s posts!
I love hearing from you! Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- The Stampin’ Up! Quilt Builder Framelits Dies are absolutely magical for creating a colorful, graphic design year round. They are on the list of My Favorite Things from the Holiday Catalog. Here’s a Stampin’ Up! video with more tips and uses for the Quilt Builder Framelits Dies.

- The Real Red flower is a combination of two flower dies from Quilt Builder Framelits Dies. The bottom and middle flower layers are separated by a Stampin’ Dimensional for depth. Six petals are arranged and adhered on top. A Metal Rimmed Pearl is the perfect polish for the center.
- Do the twist! Lemon Lime Twist adds a lovely spin on traditional Real Red and Garden Green.
- A belly band allows for easy on and off of the pretty design. I simply wrapped a 2″ x 11″ piece of Garden Green card stock around the edges of the box, cropped the excess and “set” the scores with my Stampin’ Trimmer.
- Get out of the box! Imagine this same design with Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla and Blushing Bride for a wedding or baby girl gift! Here is a previous project (and video) I created with the Quilt Builder Framelits Dies.
Thank you so much for hopping with the Stampin’ Pretty Pals today. Please take a minute to mark your calendar for our next hop on December 13, 2017. Now hop along using the Blog Hop Line-up below. Don’t forget to leave us a comment. We really like that.

Glad you found it, Rhonda. Thanks for stopping by!

This is so sweet – I love the color palette and the belly band is to die for!!
Oh how I love your comment, Amy. I like the belly band because it’s so easy to take on and off — even reuse!
Mary, your box is just beautiful! I love the belly band!
Thanks so much, Jeanie. I think it would be so easy to change up the colors and sentiment and use for just about any occasion!
So pretty. Anyone would love to get a box like this!
Thanks, Rae. I’m hoping to share as a host gift for the holidays!
Oooooooooo, so BEAUITFUL MsMary, love everything about it ♥️
Tfs
Hugs Frenchie ♥️
Ooooooo, Ms Frenchie! Your comments are always a delight!
I’m just crazy about the way you attached that belly band. This is one OVER THE TOP pizza box my friend.
You are the queen of 3D, Kadie. However, I like to give it a shot now and then – especially for the holidays!
Again I can’t stop smiling. I’m afraid if someone handed me a gift prepared in this way, I wouldn’t open it. I would just hold it in my hand and continue to admire the beauty of it. The addition of lemon lime twist makes it over the top!
You made me chuckle this morning, Cindy. Half the fun of a small gift is the package, right?
Love this project! Glad to see another idea for using Lemon Lime Twist in a Christmas Palette. Using this bundle to make a belly band is pure genius:). Totally in love with how you used the layers to build the Quilt square on the belly band. You knocked this one out of the park, Miss Mary!
Thanks, Trish. It was easy to make . . . just crop and layer!
