Click the video above to watch!

As promised in yesterday’s post of the autumn card below, I have a 1 Minute to WOW! Video Tutorial for you with a demonstration on how I used the Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blends alcohol based markers to color the leaves.  Simple to do.  Beautiful results.  The customer release date for the Stampin’ Blends is November 1, 2017!

HOT TIP!  Whisper White is ideal for use with the Stampin’ Blends markers.  However, with a little lighter touch, you can use Crumb Cake card stock, too!

I love hearing from you!  Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.

  1. You bet, Susan. I think they listened to demos and customers, too, and feel good that when it comes to alcohol markers, “we’ve got this!”

  2. I’ve watched your tutorial several times—–very good & helpful!!
I think I like the leaf the best where you have used the color lifter.
I just got my order & I can’t wait to play with these markers. I really think S.U. has listened to the demos & we’re on to something good!
Thank you for sharing your video with us!!

    • Very true, Sherry. I believe there are 12 color duos being released on Nov. 1 plus Bronze and Ivory (good for flesh tones).

  7. Thanks so much, Mary! The video was so simple and you made this look so easy I can’t wait to have these markers in my hands!

  8. Are there going to be refills that you can buy? Also, are they sold in a set of two, or can you buy them individually? Thanks!

    • Unfortunately, I don’t have the answers to that but will share when available! Thanks for asking.

  9. Very pretty. Love the coloring on the cardstock other than white. Will these be refillable?

  10. Love this Mary! I never would’ve thought to use them on Crumb Cake! Turned out gorgeous as always!

  11. Hi Mary, I’m looking forward to using the new Stampin Blend markers. They colors look rich and easy to use. We can truly be artists!

    • Thanks so much, Nancy & Barbara. Nov. 1 (the date they are available for customer purchase) will come soon!

  12. Mary I liked the Razzleberry leaf. Can’t wait till the blender pens come out.

  13. Thank you Mary…I think the ease in your video of how to use the blends has sold me on them…..

    • Thanks so much Debi and Karen. I cherish your feedback. Great news that the blends will be available for purchase Nov. 1!

  14. I am so happy to see your video, Mary! Thanks for sharing how these markers work. I love the final product and your video makes the process seem a lot less intimidating 🙂

    • Not intimidating at all. I think practicing a bit to find if you prefer light or dark first, etc., is a good idea. From there, it’s just about creative fun and color!

  15. Thanks, Connie. I feel so “empowered” artistically with the Stampin’ Blends markers!
