STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • The 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card base is Sweet Sugarplum with a 1/4″ smaller layer of Whisper White on top.
  • Each of the gifts are cut from the Layering Squares Framelits Dies.  These dies include straight edge and scalloped edge dies that are perfect for layering.

  • The bows were created using a die from the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlit Dies and the 6 x 6 Glimmer Paper Assortment Pack, a FREE Sale-a-Bration gift (NOW SOLD OUT).  See ALL available Sale-A-Bration gift choices below (while supplies last).   TIP:  Try Silver Glimmer Paper (#135314) with Silver Embossing for the sentiments as an alternative!

  • Color Coordinated. The colors from the glimmer paper dictated the color of the gifts and polka-dot pattern from the Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper Stacks.  Stampin’ Up! does such a fabulous job coordinating inks, paper and embellishments!
  • Pop up the presents! Stampin’ Dimensionals give each gift a real lift!
  • The sentiment from Balloon Adventures photopolymer stamp set is stamped in Bermuda Bay ink.

  1. Hi DeAnna: The card with gifts on it is not a shaker card. Thanks for your kind feedback. M

  2. This looks like a shaker card, how did you do that? want to learn how to make one.
    Very beautiful card.

  3. I love everything about this card…the colors, the polka dots and just the right amount of glimmer paper. This is a definite CASE for me. Thank you for sharing!

  4. Hi Mary,
I absolutely love love love your card!!
Are the squares all different sizes or did you use the same for all?
Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful talent with all of us.
    Jennie

  5. Ohh!! Love, love this card, the bling from the glimmer paper is awesome!!!
I’ve been playing with this amazing Balloon Pop Up dies, I love it and now, another fantastic project to try.
    Thank you for sharing, Mary.

  6. Oh MsMary, lovely !!!
Love how you used your glimmer dsp, I fine myself horrding mine , lol
    Tfs
    Hugs Frenchie

  7. Hi Trish: Here’s a video I created previously that offers tips on cutting DSP to fit the outside flap of the envelope. M

  8. Simply wonderful in true Mary style:). Do you have a video showing how you do these envelopes? I totally get how to line the inside but am unsure of the DSP as the flap. Love the limited use of the glimmer paper. I’ve seen cards posted in various places using lots of glimmer. This smaller amt. is perfect:)

  9. I have just enough scraps of glimmer paper left to recreate this design. What a knock out project, Mary!

  10. Nice Gifts!!! Great hint to use silver glimmer paper. Love the colors and layout too.
    🙂
