One of the many beautiful characteristics of the Stampin’ Up! Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack (only available as a FREE gift during Sale-A-Bration) is it’s delicate, translucent quality. However, that makes adhering (without adhesive showing through) a little trickier. Today’s video shares simple tips to keep this vellum in place as well as hidden from view.
I used the butterfly pattern from the Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack for the card in today’s WOW! video.
I LOVE how Strawberry Slush card stock looks with the Basic Gray printed patterns of the vellum and Silver Foil Sheets.
In case you missed it, here’s my original post and supplies recipe from yesterday for the card below.
It also uses the Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack as the background. Remember this vellum is only available as a Sale-A-Bration promotion exclusive. Sale-A-Bration ends March 31. However, this product is only available while supplies last.

It really helps with control, Sue. I have a designated “glue” paper piercing tool (even label it as “glue”).
Very clever to use the piercing tool. I never would of thought of doing that. Thanks for sharing!
Im so glad you already have the Sheer Perfection Vellum on the way, Ellen. It is so popular that I worry about it running out (while supplies last).
Dear Mary, Your two cards are so beautiful. Thank you for the video on the way to glue down the Vellum. The tips are great. Using the paper piercing tool is a great idea. I am so glad I ordered the new vellum stacks last week. I can not wait till they come in. Thank you so much Mary. Have a great day. Ellen Hinds
Thanks, Rebekka. So glad it helped.
Both of these are beautiful Mary. Love this vellum and great tutorial on how to hid the tape and glue.
I always think of YOU, Kadie, when I use either Strawberry Slush or Melon Mambo!
Thats why I use a paper piercing tool, Frenchie . . . keeps the amount of glue to a minimum. Its much easier to add a little more than take some off.
Awwww, both are so beautiful MsMary, and thanks on the tip,
I’m always scard to use to mush glue on vellum, Tfs,
Hugs Frenchie
I’m in LOVE with both of your samples…..But my heart goes to ‘HAPPY’ when I look at the Strawberry Slush version. Well Done My Friend!
