Simple Saturday: Stampin’ Up! Home for the Holidays

Stampin up stampin' up! mary fish holiday home homemade holiday framelits

I’m so impressed by the number of trendy stamps sets with coordinating framelits dies in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog. Ā Today’s Simple Saturday notecard taps into one of my favorite “couples” (see My Favorite Things), Holiday Home stamp set and Homemade Holiday Framelits Dies! Ā  Buy them as a bundle and SAVE 15%! Ā Ā See Stampin’ Up! Bundles.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • I keep my Stampin’ Up! Notecards (5″ X 3 1/2″) & Envelopes (Whisper White) handy for quick and easy cards.
  • The charming home was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (love the stuff for crisp, even images) and then cropped with the coordinating Homemade Holiday Framelits Die. Ā Popping it up on Stampin’ Dimensionals gives it a 3-D look!

  • The little heart (Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack) was stapled using the new Stampin’ Up! Stapler. Ā I adhered the heart first so that it would be in just the right spot for stapling.
  • Holiday Home stamp set is photopolymer (clear). Ā Photopolymer stamps are Ā becoming my best friends and first choice! Ā It was a snap to line up “happy new home” without any additional tools.

  1. Hi Mary, I love your cards and you have such a beautiful craft space now! I often look at your videos for inspiration, thanks so much for sharing your talent! I have been looking for the photopolymer holiday homes stamp set and came across your post. I was wondering if/how I can order or reserve one set from you? I’d be happy to wait until July 2016! I already have a demonstrator, but would be happy to subscribe to your newsletter since I love following the beautiful projects you make! I also don’t mind buying a used set for full price! Many, many thanks! Alex.

  2. Hi Shirley: That stamp set doesn’t retire and can’t be sold by a demonstrator until Sept. 1. With that said, I sell my retired products annually (July 2016–you may not want to wait that long) to my customer and newsletter subscribers. M

  3. I am wondering if you have a Holiday Home stamp set for sale? I really don’t need the framelits, but the stamp set in the photopolymer would be great. Thanks for your help. Shirley

  4. I just love the simpleness of this card. My son and daughter-in-law just moved into their new “forever” house and this card will be perfect to include with my little housewarming gift. Your cards always lift my spirits.

  5. I love this. I want this set but want several things before that purchase. Well, it has just moved to the head of the list! We have two new neighbors with the one who hasn’t moved in yet. So, I can get it ordered and be ready to pop by with a little home made treat with the card. Also, use it for the people who had moved to a new house across town. Their’s will have doggie treats as we got our puppy the weekend after they moved out. Plus, probably something good for the adults too. I love the pop of the red! I will check out your Halloween card too. Thanks for the wonderful idea!

  10. Hi Mary- What a cute, snappy card! Stamp/framelit sets are terrific but also quite an investment. Thank you for the inspiration to use this set for other than Christmas cards. Can’t wait to see more. Thank you!

  12. Oh Mary, I think this set is one of the prettiest, the cutest sets in a while. Another long ago set that was simply adorable was “Just Buzzing By…..” Those tiny bees and the bee hive are just so super cute.
Thank you for inspiring me too, Mary.
Now that I know Holiday Home is on it’s way, I’m going to be consumed with anticipation. šŸ˜‰
