As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I have a gift for my daughter, Caroline, tucked inside of my “proud” gift bag. I assembled simple handmade cards and envelopes from the Stampin’ Up! Happenings Simply Created Card Kit so that she would have quick thank yous at hand while at college. I’m a stickler for getting off thank you notes promptly. It was amazing how quickly the supplies above evolved into the cards below. Love it! A great gift idea for a busy or new card maker!
The Happenings Simply Created Card Kit is part of a suggested bundle on page 4 of the Stampin’ Up! Sale-A-Bration brochure (see brochure below). Combined with other select products, including the On It’s Way Simply Sent Kit and the Thanks & Hello Stamp Set, you’ll have plenty of what you need to make quick and easy handmade cards.
The bonus? You’ll receive a FREE Sale-A-Bration gift for every $50 you spend.
Here are more details for the Stampin’ Up! Sale-A-Bration Promotion. Ends March 31.
PLEASE NOTE: ANY combination of products to reach $50 will earn you a FREE Sale-A-Bration gift. You aren’t limited to the suggested bundles.
Great idea.
Mary, These cards are so sweet and a great gift for Caroline. Your daughter sounds like she has a great head on her shoulders, just like her wonderful Mom.
Thank you for the information on the stamp storage unit. I think you might want to ask if you can receive some commission for all of your customers are going to be checking that out. Happy Stamping,

Wow am glad to hear you are a stickler about Thank You cards. My Mom was also. Some kids will send a hand typed text that is all text “language!” Wonder how many kids have even used snail mail….GOL (giggle out loud!) I’ve made them up for my kids, grown ups now, but they are who knows where! I had them make there own when they were young! Oh well, life beats to a different drum these days. 🙂
Heres the information on the ink/marker/refill storage. Note that I had it painted to match my cabinets. It comes in a light wood, ready for paint, stain or to leave natural: https://www.stampnstorage.com/?page_id=127
Hi Vicki: Needing a quick thank you was a rule my mom reinforced and I passed along to my daughter. Shes good about it as long as she has cards on hand. Hugs, M
As others have noted, I am intrigued by your ink pad and marker storage in the background. Where did you get this? Very clever!
I, too, noticed your storage of ink pads and markers in the background! How clever! Happy stamping!
Those are really neat cards and where you have your ink pads, markers, and re-inkers is awesome in the background!!!
What a nice gift for someone. I know your daughter will appreciate it. I am sure she is just as thoughtful as you.
