This week’s Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge (PPA173) provided the design essentials for getting my 4 x 4 “Halloween Hello” card off the ground. Check out what the PPA Resident Artists have come up with using the sketch below and PLAY ALONG!
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS (4 x 4 CARD):
- The bats and “bats about you” sentiment from “Halloween Hello” were heat embossed with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I’m batty over the shiny finish.
- The little flagged ends and the envelope liner are snappy patterns from Stampin’ Up! Witches’ Brew Designer Series Paper. So easy to coordinate!
- Speaking of the envelope liner . . . my liner square for the envelope measures 3 1/2″. Don’t Miss my 1 Minute to WOW! Tutorial on how to create quick and simple envelope liners (with minimal waste) for envelopes (like this one) whipped up using the Stampin’ Up! Envelope Punch Board.
- The little ridges on the bottom of the Basic Black layer were produced using the Stampin’ Trimmer Rotary Addition and the Small Scallop Rotary Cutting Blade.
This adorable Halloween Treat broom will sweep you off your feet! It
was demonstrated to my Southwest Stampers group (this is the one I
made) at last month’s meeting by my dear friend, Kadie Labadie (more
details on Kadie’s Blog).
The handle is black licorice packaged in a Stampin’ Up! 1 x 8 Cello Bag
and coffee filters evolved into the bristles. The
“bewitching” tag uses the Stampin’ Up! Halloween Hello stamp set that I used on my card.
