Quick & Pretty Elegant Butterfly Card

Quick&PrettyBadge7
My “start to finish” on-line classes are BACK in a new Quick & Pretty style.   Today’s FREE class includes just one card that is simple, assembles in minutes and uses minimal supplies (budget-friendly).  I’m hoping the quick and pretty classes will be helpful for beginners as well as seasoned stampers who enjoy a clean and simple look.

I shot the video in HD and in a widescreen format.  This technology is new for me and I would love your feedback.  Please feel free to leave me a comment below if you enjoy the video or have problems opening, loading or hearing the video.  I have to admit, when I’m focusing on the project, I tend to get quiet.  I’m working on keeping the volume up–but it’s still a challenge for me!

  1. Lovely…but then I love butterflies – in any color! Also love clean and simple – but they are usually elegant when you create them. TFS~!!!

  2. The new format worked very well. I did set the volume up a few notches, but there were only a couple of spots in which it was really necessary. You always present your projects and products with such grace and elegance, which adds an additional layer of appreciation to watching your videos.

  3. Mary, it was an extremely lovely card, and so quick to go together! I really enjoy the wide format and the sharp definition of the HD. Yes, your voice does get a little quiet, but I just turn up the volume, and all is fine. Thank you again for bringing us your wonderful ideas.

  4. Dear Mary, I loved the video you are so good with all of your tips. I had one problem I could not really hear you. I had the volume up all the way and I knew what you were doing. It was hard to hear you. I am sorry about that. I love all of your videos you are so talented. Have a great stamping day.

  7. Mary, the format works well. I love the card and was thrilled to hear you say that you don’t mind using lots of dimensionals if needed. My sentiment exactly. Hate to see a layer “dip” somewhere just because it needed more dots. As always you had lots of little tips, which are such an appreciated help. Also the idea of using the card for a man was neat. Only thing, your voice volumn is still soft for me. My thought on that – Angels have soft sweet voices! Thanks Mary for sharing your creativity with us.

  8. Very nice new video format, Mary! And such a pretty yet easy card!
I love the white-on-white or vanilla-on-vanilla look, too. I appreciated your tips on the angle you mounted the sentiment onto the block to stamp it! Sentiments are hard to stamp – especially the narrower ones. Thank you!

  13. Thanks for another fabulous video tutorial! There was only one time that I had to turn my volume up a little bit. It’s fine. I like your calm, more quiet demeanor. And you work at a pace that is easy to follow along with if I want to work “with you”. Can’t wait to CASE this one!

  15. Thank you for another excellent video. You are correct that you are not exceptionally loud, but the volume was fine for me with my volume controls turned all the way up (which they usually are unless something has been very loud). I love the card! I am one for seeing a project and changing it, which might still happen (Christmas trees instead of butterflies), but I would be glad to make the card just like you did, too! Thanks!
