I hope everyone survived Black Friday and those that ventured out scored amazing deals. My family and I stayed far away from the crowds, leaving the comfort of home only to attend a movie (our tradition). For a little weekend fun, please be sure to participate in my Black Friday Stampin’ Up! Blog Candy Giveaway. It closes Sunday, Nov. 25 at 6:00 p.m. central time.
I whipped up a Merry Christmas card for you today. For those of you who are running short on time to create your handmade cards this season, it may be the perfect fit. You can easily change the patterned paper.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- This card is defined by the flocking pattern (Stampin’ Up! Candlelight Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper) so the rest of the elements are kept simple.
- The red flocking is on a window sheet. It produces a rich shine and allows you to layer it over any color. I loved it layered over Pool Party but it would look amazing over greens, grays . . . experiment!
- A simple Designer Printed Brad (also in Pool Party) dresses up the black polka dot ribbon.
- I used a 3/16″ Corner Punch to add a few quick curves.
