I’m
so glad you are enjoying the variety of handmade cards I receive
through swaps and as acts of kindness from my downline and friendly,
virtual community, the Stampin’ Pretty Pals. I have more to share for you today, all with an elegant red and black theme.
The
card above, created by Ellen Smallwood, actually folds flat for mailing
and then is propped up as an easel display. So clever. She got the
idea for the piano card (brilliant use of the Stampin’ Up! Word Window
Punch) from Janet Yates. Ellen added the “twisted double easel” idea and the pretty rose.
Simple
and pretty. Joyce Page used the one of the Stampin’ Up! Delicate
Designs Embossing Folders for the stunning texture. Check out the
interior below.
Chris
Robinson sent me what she referred to as “a little Iowa humor.” You
gotta love this Button Buddies pig . . . especially with the button nose
and tiny pearl eyes.
The interior message is “You’re My Snort-a Person.” Hilarious 🙂
The Stampin’ Up! Petite Pennants Builder Punch and coordinating Pennant Parade stamp set help this clean and simple card by Susan Lankford go together in a snap. Layering Whisper White over Whisper White is so classy.
This
card was created by Susan Bohlen. She used a single stamp from
Stampin’ Up! Lacy & Lovely for a crisp background. Note how she
layered the sentiment using the Decorative Label Punch.
This
sweet card tucks flowers (flowers look so sophisticated in black)
behind the strong shapes created by the Lattice Bigz Die. Pal Patti MacLeith designed this charming and innovative layout.
Linda Foster kept this design chic and textured. The touch of ribbon (yes, she dyed it black) and row of pearls are luscious touches.
Here’s another stunning design by Joyce Page. It’s bold and uber classy in black and, well, “fabulous!”
I had
to angle this card by Pal Kathy Cerny so that you could get the full
effect of the yummy sparkle! It’s a beautiful example of Stampin’ Up!
Pleasant Poppies stamp set and Kathy’s ability to mix elements.
