You may recall that I returned to my home town, Madison, Wisconsin, last June to visit one of my best friends (since the 3rd grade) who had a stroke. She has recovered amazingly well and recently became a grandmother for the first time. This card celebrates the new little guy in her life.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- My 1″ Square Punch was the foundation of the “checkerboard” background.
- The umbrella was stamped a second time, paper snipped and popped up on a Stampin’ Dimensional.
- The card base was shortened so that my flag could extend and still fit in an A2 card sized envelope.
- A touch of Whisper White Baker’s Twine gives a finished “stitch” to the buttons.
