Let’s start the Labor Day Weekend with a “parade” of cards. There’s so much talent among the Stampin’ Pretty Pals and I enjoy sharing what they create. Nicole Watt created the card above. How clever to pop a “bug” in the mason jar! It reminds me of catching fireflies as a kid. The pretty patterned background is fabric . . . a very artsy touch!
Up, up and away! Dawn Tidd created this classy card where she perfectly balances floating hot air balloons and vintage postage for a WOW! finish.
This shadow box (note the accordian sides) was designed by Jessica Ying. It’s such a fabulous way to showcase her softly watercolored bicycle image and folds to fit in an envelope.
Lynn Hoyt combines Crumb Cake and Island Indigo for a fresh autumn combination. I love how she tucked the stems behind the main image for a fluttery accent.
Giddyup! Rae Harper-Burnet takes us to the Wild West with her beautifully watercolored horse. Using the Stampin’ Up! Core-dinations card stock, she produces wood grain details and a cropped sentiment that are show stoppers.
Cheers to Jen Takacs for creating such a fun and retro trendy card! It’s the little things that make me smile– I love the slice of lime she added to the glass!
