Textile Inspired Lacy & Lovely Card

Stampin up demonstrator order online catalog circle punch blog card ideas
I want to express a quick thank you for all your kind words and congrats on my awards post yesterday.  Your feedback then and throughout the year (and, for some of you, much longer than that) keeps me focused, motivated and warms my heart.

It’s nice to be back playing with my paper, stamps and ink again.  Today’s card was inspired by this outdoor rug in a home d?cor catalog.  Clothing and home d?cor catalogs are often a source of inspiration for me!

  • Stamping bright colors (Tempting Turquoise and Lucky Limeade) on Crumb Cake card stock produces a unique look and style.
  • A single Bright Glimmer Brad (Tempting Turquoise) is the perfect pop of sparkle.
  • SNEAK PEEK!  I used the new 1 1/4″ Scallop Circle Punch for the top left element.  It’s going to get a lot of use from me and will be available for purchase August. 1 in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog.

  1. Congratulations and I know you have every right to be quite proud. Your designs and ideas are always inspiring. I don’t comment as often as I would like as I don’t always have time. I do read your blog every day though. You have wonderful ideas and talent. Thank you so much for sharing.

Well deserved in my opinion. Thanks for all the inspiration.
Love this card. Might have made one or two of the scallops
in lucky limeade just to see the difference. Can’t wait for that small
scallop to add to my collection.

  9. Thanks for your kind feedback! When I saw that rug, I KNEW I had to turn it into a card. Also, I just updated the product list to include the scallop circle punches used–3 of them, including the new 1 1/4″ Scallop Circle Punch from the Holiday Catalog (available Aug. 1).
