Can you spot the three new Stampin’ Up! Holiday products I used in today’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge? My Stampin’ Up! demonstrator holiday pre-order arrived last week and I’m delivering on my promise to tantalize you with holiday sneak peek samples. The new holiday products are available for purchase starting August 1.
- Just say “bling!” The new Stampin’ Up! Champagne Glimmer Paper (available Aug. 1) offers breathtaking sparkle in a rich, beige-gold finish. Very retro and uber cool.
- Although Glimmer Paper is much less messy than using loose glitter, some of the sparkles do go astray. I keep a lint roller handy to clean up my stamping area and dies. Works like a champ.
- Snow Flurry Bigz Die (available Aug. 1) crops the glimmer paper into stunning snowflakes. I layered all three snowflake shapes from the die on the larger version.
- “Peace on Earth” is from Greetings of the Season (available Aug. 1). I’m confident this stamp set of four holiday sentiments will be your “go to” for holiday paper crafting.
- I used my Stampin’ Up! Color Coach to mix and match possibilities that would blend and accentuate the color of the Champagne Glimmer Paper.

Here I am making my third comment on this beautiful card. I ended up CASEng your card and made 10. I finally used up one lingering one this year. It’s hard to believe how time flew. I’m a subscriber for all these years, but live in Canada.
Hi Mary, I just posted a link to your card. I couldn’t resist CASEng this darling card.
Mary, this card is absolutely breathtaking. I adore your color combination and your use of the sknowflake die. I’ll take a pink martini with mine, please! ((hugs))
Beautiful card! Love the glitter snowflakes and the white embossed cardstock is a stunning background.
Hi Mary,
What a stunning card. You’re very adventurous mixing red and pink and gold and well – I’m in awe. You truly pulled this together beautifully. So glad I stopped in to see, I’m “clipping” your card for inspiration!!!
Blessings,
Barb
The color combinations you used here Mary, caught my eye right away. Stunning! That snowflake is just gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.
This is beautiful, I love all the layers
Wow, amazing!
Wow!!!! That is a seriously gorgeous card! I was hoping not to “need” the new snowflake die, but this card is making it very hard to resist!
Wow, Mary, that card is amazing! LOVE that champagne glimmer paper snowflake! I have been on the fence about that snowflake die, so I’m grateful to see some samples made with it.
TFS!
oh, my goodness Mary, even w/the color coach, you do know how to put bling & jazz to a card….happy conv. travelling; i’ll be waiting for posts!!
What a beautiful card. I’m totally going to CASE this card this year. That new snowflake die is gorgeous. You really are an inspiration.
Mary I love the large snowflake it’s on my wish list too! Thanks for being such a wonderful inspiration!
Wow Mary! The large snowflake was already on my wish list, as was the champagne glitter — how cool to see them together!
Mary, your beautiful cards can entice anyone to purchase everything you used to create it. This could inspire anyone to start on there Christmas cards. It sparkles with joy.
Next to the new mini DSP stacks that SU is offering in our new holiday catalog…..this Champagne Glimmer Paper (and die) were two of the MUST PURCHASE on my VERY LONG Pre-Order List. LOVE your color combination and think you knocked this one out of the park. Makes for a SUPER DUPER FUN holiday card. Thanks for sharing with us Mary!
Mary, such a pretty card! Looking at all the goodies from the sneak-peeks makes me really look forward to the new mini coming out soon!!! Thanks for all the awesome inspiration your blog provides!!!
Nice combmination of colors… and you are right. They really do the glimmer paper justice. Thanks for including the color coach comment. This is something I have always debate on, but never really seen put to use. I usually try to stick with a pallette that is in a DSP Print, but when not including a print, ths would be very helpful.
Omg Ms Mary ,that’s soo BEAUITIFUL !! I love every thing about it !!
Goog ,super job……. I’ll be casing that one.
Hugs frenchie
Ps. Have a nice time at conv.. I’ll be waiting to see pictures!!
Mary … what do you use for adhesive with the glimmer paper? I LOVE the glimmer paper, but find that sometimes it’s hard to stick things ON TOP of the glimmer paper (like you’ve done by layering the snowflakes and then adding the pearl). Can you share your tips on adhesives for this type of project?
Mary, so pretty! Love the new glimmer snowflake and that textured vanilla – beautiful! Have a great day 🙂
