NEW WOW! VIDEO. Since I primarily stamp to create cards, I do a little “surgery” on my Stampin’ Up! wheels to convert them to cling-mount stamps. I like the control and convenience of using them as a stamp vs. a wheel. I used the Stampin’ Up! Alhambra Jumbo Wheel (now a converted stamp) for the pattern on the top half of my card. Note: I’m aware the audio is fairly quiet. I created the video while my family was sleeping 🙂 You should be able to hear it if you boost your speaker volume.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: I don’t recommend you unmount your wheels if you like to scrapbook, make cards larger than a standard A2 card (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″) or use the wheels for other projects that require the pattern to continue for more than 5 1/2″.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- Stampin’ Up! Clear-Mount Cling Foam (124236) makes the conversion easy.
- Stampin’ Up! “I” Clear-Block is 5 7/8″ x 2 1/4″ which is wide enough to work with Stampin’ Up! jumbo wheels. You WILL need to crop the length (ends) of the red rubber to fit the block length.
- If there is text on the wheel, you need to either plan where you want to cut the length to avoid cropping the text or leave it as a wheel.
