Stampin’ Up! Love & Laughter rubber stamp set (Occasions Mini Catalog) is the essence of a chic, modern wedding design. I love the mix of fonts and crisp look when heat embossed, especially white on black. See stamp images below. STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- The Love & Laughter wedding cake was heat embossed and then snipped out with my Paper Snips. It’s popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals for a 3-D effect.
- I used three different options from the Stampin’ Up! Basic Pearls Jewels collection (stick-on is oh so quick and easy). The little string below the cake looks like a scallop border!
- The classy striped embossing on Basic Gray card stock was created using the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine and the Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. - Alas . . . the Paper Doily Sizzlits Die. Yes, it can be a challenge getting the tension right for clean cutting and popping out those intricate bits (I use my Paper Piercer). However, the finished result is worth a little experimentation with the tension (“to shim or not to shim”) and Big Shot sandwich order. This can vary from Big Shot to Big Shot. Please, don’t force it through 🙂
- Here’s my Paper Doily Sizzlits line up (from bottom to top): Multi-Purpose Platform on Tab 1, Cutting Pad, 1 piece of Whisper White Card Stock used as a shim, Paper Doily Sizzlits Die face up (centered on the shim and platform), Whisper White Card Stock, Cutting Pad. Note: This will vary a touch depending on the thickness of the card stock or if using Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper.
