Regifting Card Idea

Stampin up birthday card occasions mini catalog demonstrator video tutorial
On the cusp of the 2012, I thought it would be a good time to resolve to become a little “greener” as part of my paper crafting passion.  I will be making just as many cards–most of my cards have a destination in mind.  However, what about our handmade beauties making a trip to more than one recipient?

Yes, yes . . . I have seen the episode of Seinfeld about the consequences of “regifting.”  However, passing along the suggestion to resend our creations (“regifting”) may be a smart way to add longevity to the “heart and soul” you transformed into paper (and one less purchase the recipient has to make the next time they need a card)!

Today’s video (evolved from a “1 Minute to WOW” into about 4 minutes 🙂 shows you a Stampin’ Up! personalized stamp (Family Tree) that I customized for exactly the purpose of making the regifting suggestion.  It goes on the back of a removable insert.  The front of the removable insert is for your personal message or an interior stamp.  NOTE:  Stampin’ Up! personalized stamps cannot be ordered on-line.  If you are interested, please email me your order information here.  The personalized stamp details are on page 172 of the Idea Book & Catalog.

Watch my demonstrator video and let me know what you think about the concept of “regifting and recycling” cards with a comment below!  Today’s card (for my daughter’s 18th birthday) showcases Stampin’ Up! Twitterpated Designer Series Paper, available Jan. 4 with the start of the Occasions Mini Catalog!  Clean, simple, pretty!
