Pink Pirouette Glimmer Paper? If you have Stampin’ Up! Silver Glimmer Paper and Classic Ink on hand, you can create your own custom colored glimmer paper. Today’s 1 Minute to WOW! Video Tutorial shows you how to perform the “magic!”
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
I experimented with different methods to apply the ink to the Silver Glimmer Paper and preferred using a dauber and a drop or two of reinker. Different colors may have different results. Please let me know with a comment below if you have tried this method and your experience with other colors.- IMPORTANT! The ink doesn’t dry very quickly with this technique (seriously, it was still wet after a couple hours). Use a Heat Tool to set the color pronto.
- I used my Stampin’ Up! Simply Scored Scoring Tool to add a little embossing to the horizontal panel (on the Soft Suede portion).
- My trusy Simply Scored Tool also helped me whip up the custom envelope for this 5″ x 3 1/2″ card (Beau Chateau Designer Series Paper). I cut a 8″ x 6 1/4″ rectangle and scored the long direction 1/2″ in from each side (or 1/2″ and 5 3/4″). Next, I flipped it 90 degrees and scored at 1 3/4″ and 5 1/2″.
