My Stampin’ Pretty Pals Swap

SDC17591-1

Ready to be inspired?   Here's the start of  the amazing swap cards I received from my Stampin' Pretty Pals attending the Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City.  Today's card was created by Liz Hughes.  Check out her DIY Paper Creations blog for more ideas!  Isn't the background fantastic?  She brayered ink inside the Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (new, #123128) to grab both texture and color.

  1. Love the card and the stamp set. I ordered it last week and looking forward receiving it. The colors are beautiful. I also like the embossing folder with ink. It is very stricking. Thank you for sharing. Well done!

  2. Just love it! I’m so happy to see such a pretty example using the Language of Friendship set. That set is at the top of my wish list since it coordinated with my bird punch that I purchased earlier this year. Just can’t pass up those stamp & punch combinations. Thank you for sharing this very elegant card.

  3. What a beautiful card. I love your colors and the striped background. Very striking. Your web site is beautiful. You are very talented. Thank you for sharing.

  4. Liz, your card is so pretty – I love all of the special touches…the striped embossing with ink, the scallop edge and the ribbon – you brought everythingn together so well – great card! Mary, thank you for sharing your swap cards…I look forward to seeing the rest of them 🙂
