Setting the Holiday Table & Starter Kit Special!

Stampin up compliments to the chef holiday menu invitation
The stamps from Compliments to the Chef lend a beautiful elegance for holiday cards, invitations, place cards or even a sumptuous holiday menu.  As my Stampin' Pretty Holiday Marathon continues, I thought "setting the holiday table" on a card would be a fun twist.

Stampin up bon appetit placemat So what are the trends for today's holiday table?  My niece, Mary Lee Keller, has the New York City 411 on all things tasteful and cool for home and fashion.  Think Martha Stewart meets Sarah Jessica Parker. Check out her latest post discussing setting the perfect fall table.  You're gonna love her style and simplicity.  I'm so proud to be her Auntie.

STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:

  • Stampin up bon appetit table setting Digging the "fringe?"  Check out my previous 1 Minute to "WOW" Video Tutorial to learn how to turn grosgrain into this fun fringe.
  • Layers of Very Vanilla card stock look rich and add a touch of faux embossing.
  • I literally jumped up and down when I discovered how perfect the texture of the Square Lattice Textured Embossing Folder would be for a placemat.
  • I used the Stampin' Up! 2 1/2" Circle Punch for the "plate" and the Circle Scissor Plus (set to 2 3/4") for the layer below.

PUNCH UPDATE:  SU announced that the quality issues for both the 2 1/2" Circle Punch and Fancy Flower Punch have been resolved.  They are back in production and should be available soon.
