Always to the Max

031 My Stampin' Pretty Pals and I enjoyed a card swap at the Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City last month.  Amazing artistic talent!  I'll be sharing plenty more.

We also included my Stampin' Up! Service Account Manager (also referred to as a "SAM"–think Mary Fish's "handler"), Maxine Conrad.  Her swap card is above, created with the Because I Care hostess stamps set. Absolutely exquisite.  I'm really diggin' the color combo.

Max is also a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and her blog "Stamp to the Max" blog is delightful.  Max and I managed to take a little time out together at convention on the left.

  1. This card is fabulous! The color combination is terrific. It is always nice to see color combos that step out of the box in such a fashionable way. [And, speaking of fashionable, I love that bag you are holding–tell us more!!]

  2. So very pretty, especially with the pop of red.

    Ter 😉

  3. Hi Ann: The dishy bag is my gift from Stampin’ Up! for having earned Founder’s Circle. I plan to use it as my carry-on when I fly to St. George, UT for a retreat in September.

    Hugs, M

  7. That’s a WOW card in my opinion. As everyone said before me the color combo is wonderfully chic. Love, love the misting around the image rectangle – is that smooch mist or the color spritzer? Just beautiful. TFS!

  9. Gorgeous card Maxine! I hear a lot about you and it’s great to put a face with a name now. You are a doll!

  10. Miss Max . . . your card is a huge hit (as I anticipated). Thanks for keeping me in line and being a dear friend. Hugs, M

  11. Thank you Benjaman 🙂 I used the smooch spritz at the end but what I did around the edges was simply fray the edges and then sponged the edges using Cherry Cobbler ink.

  12. Maxine your card is so beautiful. I love your color combination too. Hugs,
