I wanted to share a card today that I made last February for my husband on Father's Day. It was originally created under "Sharp Dressed Man" for Splitcoast Stampers during my time on the Dirty Dozen Design Team. Does that get a little ZZ Top running through your mind?
I previously posted the card directly above on my blog using the same style ribbon "tie." The blog hop that I introduced it on is long over . . . however, supplies information for the black and white card is here.
I have had many requests from readers (thank you for your enthusiasm) on how to tie "the tie" . . . honestly, it's simply a Windsor Knot, tied just like a standard man's tie. Yes, it took me a few tries before I was happy with it :)
Here's a link with some tips on tying a Windsor Knot I found on the internet. I didn't personally use it but it may help those of you unfamiliar with men's ties! Click for more of my masculine card samples.
