Have you enjoyed my week of sneak peeks from the new Stampin' Up! 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog (available July 1)? I loved creating and sharing the new products with you (and will continue to do so). After seeing the catalog (one of my demonstrator perks), I can assure you that you are in for a treat when the customer sales period begins. Can you tell I love being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator?
STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:
- Friends Never Fade was my stamp set "du jour." I inked the floral stamp in VersaMark and stamped it on Presto Patterns Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Summer Mini Catalog.
- Heat embossing in silver really makes the floral images pop.
- So here's the magic. Using a Brayer, I rolled Pear Pizzazz (one of the new In Colors, July 1) over the Presto Patterns Paper. The script comes to life.
- Oooohhhh . . . how I love texture. I used the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on the Always Artichoke layer. For a snazzy little edge, leave the Scallop Trim Border (punch available again 7/1) hanging outside the folder when you zip it through the Big Shot.

Oh I love that textured background – beautiful colours!
You have done such an amazing job with all of your sneak peek cards, but I think this one has to be my favorite!! I love the heat embossing on the DSP. The Pear Pizazz brayered over the DSP made it all pop even more. So beautiful and creative!! Love it!

Incredible card, Mar! (Said like Lou Grant!) I especially like the Square Lattice on the Always Artichoke. I liked it on white and Vanilla, then I tried it on Real Red! WOW! Color makes that texture really pop!
Mike

I just love all of your cards!! I look at your blog at least twice a day. Thanks for being so talented!!
Great ideas! Gee, I am going to have to start brayering. Thanks, too, for showing the versatility of the presto DSP.
This is such a beautiful card! I love the way you color coordinate all of your projects. Absolutely stunning!
Mary, the beauty of your cards makes me run to my craft room. You are such an inspiration! 🙂
Beautifully done! Great punched edge on your embossed background piece…clever how you left that smooth for the punching…my eye is drawn to that!
Mary I’m a new demonstrator and I love coming to your site. The talents and gifts that God has blessed you with is tremendous. I love everything about this card and I’m definitely going to try inking the designer paper because I never though of that before. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful work.
Stunning!
Mary, you pulled out all the stops on this card. Wow! Embossing and a fancy edge all on one layer, I love it.
Looks great and I love the silver embossing, it finishes the card. I don’t know how you come up with them, but I’m glad you do. Thanks for sharing.
So beautiful! Love those colors and embossing. Hugs,
OK…this one’s my favorite!
Oooh, how pretty! Love what you did with this card! So many new and good ideas every day! Last night’s SKYPE call was lots of fun–even if you did sound like “Darth Vader, Fearless Leader”!
Well, aren’t we fancy today! I love all the texture – esp the brayering!
