When Stampin’ Up! sent me Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper to create a sample for them, it didn’t take long before I realized just how exciting this product can be. The stack of boxes above was my first project with this product and I’m so pleased with how it turned out. What do you think? Please leave me a comment below!
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- Metallic looks are very on-trend right now. To play up the effects of the pre-embossed white patterns, I used the Metallic Gold Encore Ink Pad.
- Using Sponge Daubers, I worked the ink into the patterns and then wiped it down VERY thoroughly with paper towels, leaving ink in just the unembossed areas. The process took just a few minutes!
- I used FOUR different patterns between the three boxes and tag. Which is your favorite? Remember, you can use any ink color to create custom colored designer paper in these patterns.
- Once I transformed the Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper into gold and white patterns, I used my Stampin’ Up! Gift Box Punch Board to create my trio.
- Sizes of the boxes from top to bottom: 1.75 x 1.75 x 1.75, 3.25 x 3.25 x 1.75, 4 x 4 x 2.5.

Best wishes from Germany (sorry for my bad english)
It’s time to play, Carol! Even just a set of tags using each pattern. I’m going to hop off the computer and make a video for tomorrow (one of the boxes). I’m so motivated by all these kind words.
Wow, how beautiful! I have this DSP but admittedly have not yet played with it, will do so today and share with my customers/friends,

The Stripes are definitely the most elegant–my fav. Love your stack of boxes!

TFS ,
HUGS Frenchie,
Thanks for all your comments! Frankly, I personally like the way they play off each other and don’t have a favorite pattern either!
It’s really hard to choose a favorite since they’re all beautiful. I’m having a difficult time choosing between the largest box and the smallest one, even though as a rule I always love stripes. Sorry I can’t choose and I can’t wait to try this myself. Awesome job
I was wondering about using the metallic ink – now I know and they are absolutely stunning. What a brilliant idea; thanks for sharing!
They are gorgeous! Love that you used the metallic ink!
Love the combinations! Beautifully done.
Best use of that paper I have seen so far! These are beautiful! You are so creative. Thank you for sharing

Beautifully elegant project, Mary. Who wouldn’t love receiving this pretty gift? Now I need to place another order to get the paper.
I don’t think these boxes could look any more elegant than they are right now, Mary! You’ve outdone yourself and they are simply gorgeous! I have all these supplies…..(smiling)
I sure appreciate your comments. The “plan” is to do a video for one of the boxes tomorrow!
This is a GORGEOUS project….and even more a work-of-art in person. LOVE what you created my friend and just know that Stampin’ UP! must have been VERY PLEASED with your creation. THANKS for sharing.
I like the mix patterns all in the same color.
Oh my goodness, I didn’t realize the paper could be colored that way. These are all wonderful; and the stack of boxes that you created with the coordinating label is perfection. Thanks for sharing, Mary.
Good morning Mary. This is truly an elegant project and so artistically done. My favorite pattern is the top box. Thank you-well done!
Oh they are stunning!!!!
The satin ribbon is SO luxurious in either gold or white. It also is available in silver and ivory. Yummy!
These are gorgeous Mary!! Heard the ribbon is wonderful to work with too! Have a great weekend.
So classy as usual. Loving them all, but especially the bottom floral one. How about that gold ribbon? Need some of that.
Thank you for sharing with us day after day.

Very elegant gift ensemble Mary. I think my favorite pattern is that of the smallest box.
