STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • I used lots of new products form the Occasions Catalog today, starting off with the soft and pretty Something Borrowed Designer Series Paper.  In Sahara Sand and Whisper White, it’s a classic!

  • The flower was stamped with Crazy About You stamp set in Crisp Cantaloupe and cropped with the coordinating Flower Medallion Punch.

  • The flower center was snipped from the Blushing Bride rosette trim included with the Artisan Embellishment Kit.

  1. Love your card Mary, are there dimensions for it please? Cheers and thankyou, Marilyn.

    • Sorry Marilyn,
This card was created several years ago, so I do not have dimensions. You can pull dimensions from this card that was created with the same layout. Flowering Fields

  2. Thanks for the advice, Mary. I am definitely getting this in the Photopolymer now that I know that was your choice. I cannot wait to make your card!

  3. I’m a “fool for flowers,” too, Frenchie. I wondered the same, “would the flowers look good individually.” Honestly, I love the little touch of shabby chic!

  4. Mary, this is just stunning! I love the color combination and using that new paper is just perfect! Love that flower center; gives great texture. I need to get that kit. Thanks for sharing such a gorgeous creation today. Hugs!

  5. Omg !!! That is so beautiful MsMary, #1 I’m a fool for floweres, next the flower just pops and I love how you cut it off and left the nets on , I alwayes try to trim it off cas I didn’t thing it would look neat on , but you proved me wrong , I love it all !!!
    Tfs ,
    Hugs Frenchie,

  6. When photopolymer (see through clear) is available, that’s my stamp of choice for all stamp sets. It has a slightly different touch that is easy to adapt to and is the most budget-friendly option. The ability to truly see where you are stamping (eyeballing vs. a Stamp-a-ma-jig), is very “freeing” for me creatively, especially for sentiments. I have the Crazy About You set in photopolymer. TIP: When stamping solid photopolymer images, put our Paper Piercing Mat below the card stock. This makes a big difference in getting even coverage.

  7. Love this card and love this stamp set. I would love your opinion, Mary, as to your recommendation for wood, clear or photopolymer for this particular set. Which do you have?

  8. I think so, too, Robbye. The paper (Something Borrowed) is part of the new bridal products from the Occasions Catalog. However, it’s so elegant for spring and possibilities beyond that.

  9. Thanks so much, Michelle and Laura! It was a fun card to make. I started with a big pearl (also from the Artisan Embellishments Kit) for the flower center and decided that the texture of the flower trim piece was much more interesting!
