It's Day 5 of My 10 Top Ways to Get Your Stampin' Mojo Going. I got my mojo going for Lily's card with this week's Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO308). I find challenges (especially sketch ones) provide the design basics to get ideas flowing. I simply need to "fill in the the blanks!"
STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:
- Diggin' that sunburst effect? I cut 4 1/2 x 1 1/2" rectangles, sliced them diagonally and adhered four of them together. I cropped the excess off the top and a wee bit off the sides.
- The sentiment (perfect for a little girl or what?) is from Remembering Birthdays and sets the stage for lots of bling!
- I adore how there's a coordinating "Happy Birthday" sentiment (same fun font from Remembering Birthdays) for the interior of the card.
- SNEAK PEEK: The card base masures 5 1/8" square. I used the Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board to create a coordinating square envelope. So easy! The Envelope Punch Board will be available Sept. 1 (Item #133774, $19.95–a seriously screaming deal).
DON'T MISS OUT! Hang out with me and 7000 others on my Stampin' Pretty Facebook page. We were thinking "pink" earlier this week and I used the two of our favorite Stampin' Up! pinks on today's card (Strawberry Slush and Blushing Bride).
