WHAT I LOVE! I keep reaching for the Stampin’ Up! Thanks & Beyond Dies. They are available for a limited time as a Paper Pumpkin add on. For just $12, you get four very versatile dies. I used all four on my card. I cropped the “thanks” dies in Basic Black and Petunia Pop and layered slightly “off” for a drop shadow effect. Simple and fun. Here’s a WOW! CUT YOUR CARD STOCK – DIMENSIONS:
- Petunia Pop Card Stock:
- Card Base – 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2 (top)
- Die-Cut Thanks – 1 1/4 x 3 3/4 (before die-cutting)
- Basic Black Card Stock:
- Layer & Die-Cut Thanks – 4 x 5 1/4
- Die-Cut Label – 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 (before die-cutting)
- Basic White Card Stock:
- Layer – 3 1/2 x 4 3/4
- Die–Cut Butterfly – 2 1/2 x 2 (before die-cutting)
- 2024-2026 In Color 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper
- Envelope Flap – 5 3/4 x 2 1/4
PROJECT TUTORIAL:
Begin by burnishing the fold of the Petunia Pop card base with a Bone Folder.
Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) to crop the “Thanks” from the center of the 4 x 5 1/4 Basic Black layer.
Adhere (and hide) the die-cut layer to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere the 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 Basic White layer over the top of the Basic Black layer as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) to crop the following with the Thanks & Beyond dies:
- Basic Black – hexagon label
- Basic White – detailed butterfly die nestled inside the solid butterfly die
- Petunia Pop & Basic Black – thanks
Adhere the Petunia Pop and Basic Black “thanks” together and slightly offset with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to create a drop shadow. See my WOW! Video for a quick demonstration here.
Prop the inner “detailed” butterfly wings up from the body of the butterfly.
Adhere only the outer edge of the butterfly to the Basic Black label as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere “thanks” to the card with trimmed to size Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish as shown with 3 Basic Black Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems.
PERFECT POLISH! Adhere the 5 3/4 x 2 1/4 Petunia Pop 2024-2026 In Color 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper to the Basic White Medium envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. IMPORTANT: Add glue to the flap first, not the Designer Series Paper.
