CUT YOUR CARD STOCK – DIMENSIONS:
- Soft Suede Card Stock:
- Card Base –5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
- Basic White Card Stock:
- Layer – 5 1/4 x 4
- Die-cut Sentiment – 3 x 3 (before die-cutting)
- Melon Mambo Card Stock:
- Layer – 4 7/8 x 3 1/2
- Die-cut Layer- 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 (before die-cutting)
- Like an Animal Specialty Designer Series Paper:
- Layer – 4 x 3 1/2, cut into the following strips 1 1/4, 1 1/4, 1/2, 1 1/4
PROJECT TUTORIAL:
Begin by burnishing the fold of the card base with a Bone Folder.
Adhere the Basic White layer to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere the strips of Like an Animal DSP, keeping them in the exact cut order, onto the Melon Mambo layer as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Double wrap with Linen Thread, securing with a bow.
Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a Clear Block to stamp the sentiment (Simply Fabulous Stamp Set) in Melon Mambo Classic Ink onto the Basic White layer.
Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the 2 3/8 Layering Circle Die.
Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the scalloped 3 7/8 Layering Circle Die to crop the Melon Mambo layer.
Adhere together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the card as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish the sentiment with a Melon Mambo Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gem (large).
