I was WOW’d at the Stampin’ Up! On-Stage event last month when they demonstrated how quick and easy it is to use Sponge Daubers to color stamp images. I love the soft finish and vintage look when Powder Pink is used to color Crumb Cake card stock.

Today’s WOW! Video Tutorial shares how I used Sponge Daubers to color the card for yesterday’s post. The Petal Palette Stamp Set and Petals & More Thinlits Dies are a sneak peek from the Occasions Catalog which begins Jan. 3.
I love hearing from you! Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.

WOW is right, Mary!! I love the simplicity of coloring with sponge daubers! The bold lines in the stamp set add to the simplicity! Great job! You did it…. AGAIN!!
Thanks so much, Carolyn. I love the “blushed” look! So easy to achieve.
What a great easy idea, but so very pretty! Thank you for sharing. I can’t wait to get this stamp and die set.
Thanks, Holly, for sharing your thoughts!
I very much enjoy your videos. I always learn something. I’m sorry to say I couldn’t watch this video as there was no closed-captions. Most people would be okay with this. I just can’t hear well enough to be able to enjoy your videos. Thank you for all you’ve taught me over the last year, and Happy Holidays to you and yours!
Closed captioning is available, Gloria. Please click on the “cc” at the bottom of the video! Thanks for your sweetness!

Gorgeous Card! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much Lori! I appreciate your kind words!
Beautiful card, Mary. Love the colors and Wink of Stella is perfect.
I appreciate the feedback, HJ. It’s so hard to photograph the shimmer of the “wink!” It sure is lovely, however.
Mary, what a great job you did on the coloring. I never would have thought about colors with the sponge daubers. The card is so rich. I love the He wink of Tella on the flowers and the bird. Great job Mary,Have a great day. Ellen Hinds
Always a delight to hear from you, Ellen. Hope you are inspired!
How long do you wait after stamping the image in the black archival ink before coloring?
A couple minutes should be plenty (probably more than needed). You can use a heat tool to speed drying if needed.
Thanks, Kadie. I sure wish it was easier to see the Wink of Stella glitter in the photos and videos. It’s the perfect, subtle touch of glimmer
BRAVO Mary for sharing this bundle with us. The sponge dauber works like a charm for this set. And adding the Wink of Stella is brilliant.
